At Aeon Bukit Indah Starbucks, Johor
Bukit Indah Storefront |
It 7 days more to Christmas and today the family went into Johor for some christmas shopping. We drove to Aeon Bukit Indah (Jusco) for groceries and the other shops for gifts.
Half way through, i decided to drop by the Starbucks for my regular coffee. The christmas tumblers and mugs are all sold out except for a few items left.
There was still a Christmas snowman tumbler available and I bought it up as Singapore Starbucks have sold out all their stocks. Heard from the bearista that all the Starbucks in Johor have also sold out this tumbler and their was the last one. How lucky can I be?
This seem to be best selling tumbler this year as Singapore still have stocks for the other tumblers.
Starbucks should consider coming out with another similar tumbler next year, maybe Santas Claus or Reindeer?

Starbucks Drive-thru Setia Tropika, Malaysia
Drove across the Malaysia causeway in the morning to look at the first drive-thru Starbucks in Johor, Malaysia. It's located in a newly open housing estate.
They were giving out car-decal for drive-thru customer since November (heard this from Malaysia Starbucks lover in facebook) but have apparently run out of it when i enquire with the staff. What a disappointment! I didn't expect it to ran out that fast cosidering that this is a quiet enironment. Wonder when they will replenish their stock?
Have a cup of Peppermint Mocha, enjoying the quiet environment while i read the morning papers.
Malaysia is having a promotion from Nov. 9th till Jan. 15th 2011 where you can get a 2011 planner after you have accumulated 12 stamps in a little booklet. You can one stamp for every grande size handcrafted beverages order.
Drove down to Aeon Tebrau - a shopping complex to do some shopping and to have my second cup of coffee of the day at Starbuck. This time I try the Toffee Nut Mocha.
Comparing both, I prefer the peppermint as it have a much nicer taste but my favourite is still Dark Cherry Mocha which is not available in Malaysia.
