Malaysia Starbucks Christmas Card

With the released of the first card, Malaysia Starbucks also released the two christmas card on the same day.

Only a small quantity was given to each store and they were gone within days. I manage to get a few of each design three days after the launch date at JB Sentral store.

Have been asking the store when new stock will be arriving but to no avail. Only the birthday card is still available.

If Starbucks don't released more of these two card this month, this will become one of the hard to find card with the number still unscratch.

Malaysia Starbucks First Card

After a long wait, Malaysia Starbucks released their first card on 19th October with a big party held in Kuala Lumpur.

Their first cards was the birthday card that was similar to the one that was issue in some other country.

To get the card, you need to top up a minimum of RM$20.

If you top up RM$100, you will be given a card caddy to put your card. There are three different color to choose from.

Singapore Starbucks Christmas Card Holder

This christmas card holder is only given out free when the you top up your christmas version Starbucks card with SGD$30.

Try topping up my regular card and they won't even issue me these holder. 'Rule are rule' the bearista mention. 

So in order to get it, I have no choice but to follow the rule..

 

Starbucks Christmas Cards

Singapore Strabucks released this year christmas cards of two on 27th October. This was the 6th and 7th card from Singapore entitle Christmas Tree and Snowman.

Along with the cards, there were a lot of christmas mugs, tumbler, ornament and Christmas coffee beans.

Starbucks Via Coffee Finally In Singapore

It finally here, Via Coffee from Starbucks. Many fans have requested for it and Starbucks Singapore listen. The coffee was released here yesterday (6th September) with two flavour Colombia and Italian Roast.

Starbuck also held a testing asking their customer to differentiate Via coffee with normal ground coffee. Both taste the same.

It come in either a a three or twelve piece pack. Bought a three piece pack and will have it in the office later in the morning.

Starbucks also came out with the bearista bear, tumbler and Via satchet container to concide with the launch.

Starbucks In Hot Water Over Bao Gong Mug In China Hefei

A recent newspaper article about the issue of Starbucks in Hefei in China. Apparently they have some issued with the released of their mugs and tumbler in their new store in this province.

They have used the image of a 11th century judge named Bao Zheng (Bao Gong) without the permission of the descendent and may have violated intellectual property right.

 Fancy this happening in China when oversea company are more concern about Chinese company copying their products.

Singapore Starbucks Birthday Card (#5)

Starbucks in Singapore finally released her 5th edition card on 11th August. It was plan to be released in July but got delay due to some issue on the card again.

There is no new sleeve and Starbucks have been using this design since the Pike Place version. The only different is the new logo on the card.

 

Starbucks 40th Anniversary Card - #4 Singapore

Singapore Starbucks released the special edition 40th Anniversary card in Singapore on 15th March.
Was expecting it to be released on the actual 40th Anniversary itself, but apparently there was some technical issue causing the delay.

Anyway, there is no sleeve for the card at this moment. Heard from the bearista that the sleeve is still printing and will be released this week. Let wait and see whether this is true.

Cocoa Cappuccino

Try the two variation of the new Cocoa Cappucino and prefer the hot version better.

The hot version taste exactly like the cappucino with the extra taste of cocoa, while the cold version was horrible - taste so watery.  Starbucks should have try to introduce it in the Frappuccino version.

New Logo Launch With New Drink

As mention yesterday, today is indeed the official lauch of the new Starbucks logo on their 40th year.

Here in Singapore, there is no celebration compare to some country like Taiwan. Hopefully there will be some celebration later on. The new card for the new logo is also not launch yet and the Pike Place card is still available.

A new drink is launch - Cocoa Cappuccino available either hot or cold. Will give it a try, the next trip I go down to Starbucks.

New Starbucks Logo To be Launched On 8th March?

Starbucks Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand & Taiwan announced today in their facebook page of fun thing happening tomorrow. This left fans guessing of what is going to happen on their page.

Taiwan somehow let the cat out of the bag by mentioning that the new logo will be launch and there will be free coffee, snack and even notebook at certain of their outlet.

Wonder what Sinagpore and Malaysia will be giving out?

Starbucks 40th Anniversary Card - #4

It been a month since Chinese New Year and Valentine Day pass by, there is still no new stuff released by Starbucks Singapore. What is available is only the city collector mugs and tumblers and a few remainder of the Valentine bearista bear.

Just heard from one of the bearista here that they will be coming out with the 4th cards in a couple of week. It will be for the 40th anniversary of Starbucks. Should be similar to the one that was just launch in US. (Attached photo is the card launch in US found on Ebay)

There is no mention of other products being released for the anniversary.

Anyway, will announce once more info is available.

2011 Valentine Merchandise

The valentine merchandise was only released a few days ago and a lot of the cafe have already sold out their mugs and tumblers.

It was the same when they released the Chinese New Year merchandise where the mug was sold out instantly. A lot of people could not get the Rabbit mug.

Singapore Third Card - Pike Place

After about two week delay due to some issue with the card, Singapore released it third card (first for 2011) on 24th January. The card show a photo of the first Starbuck - Pike Place.

This card is also released in Thailand but with a different sleeve.

First Week Of 2011

Happy New Year 2011 to all

How time fly. It's already the end of the first week of the new year and so much have been happening at Starbucks.

It been a hectic week trying to clear the back lot of December. With the weekend here, it time to update all on the latest arrival for 2011.


1) Starbuck have announced that the existing logo will be changing to a new design in the coming month and this year is also the 40th anniversary since Starbuck started.

2) Singapore Starbucks have been working with the local community by donating their used coffee ground and hop to be used as compost. (will give more update in another post later)

3) Chinese New Year is just a month away and the products to celebrate this festival have just been launched. So far, there is one bear, one coffee mug and one tumbler.

No mention on whether will there be another limited edition card. The staff at the cafe do not know how many more items will be released later.
